Made from twelve accurately cut pieces of hardwood to form a shallow cone shape, with a traditional glass-faced quartz movement inserted in the centre.

Inlay strips of a contrasting wood colour are placed at the hour positions, to coincide with the hour markings on the clock face.

A modern high-strength woodworking adhesive is used in the construction of each wall clock. The makers state that this is stronger than the wood itself.

Finished with special organic oils to enhance the natural beauty of the wood. Unlike some other finishes it can't be chipped. The oil soaks into the wood, sealing it against dust and moisture. Special driers in the oil ensure that the finish dries completely.
